Ana Beatriz Santos is a Senior Research Analyst at WRI Brasil. She is part of the Forests, Land Use, and Agriculture Program team. She holds a master's and a doctorate in applied meteorology from the Federal University of Viçosa.

Before joining WRI Brasil, she worked on projects in both the public and private sectors aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture growth in the country. Her area of expertise has a broad focus, always aiming to quantify the impacts of major production chains on the dynamics of land use, water, and the atmosphere.

In recent years, she has specialized in geoprocessing, having worked with various products and satellites in the development of geospatial databases.
