Amy Swift
Research Analyst, Ocean Program
Amy Swift is the Research Analyst for the World Resource Institute’s Ocean Program based in London. In this role, Amy supports the delivery of the Ocean’s Program’s workstreams and initiatives, with a particular emphasis on aiding the Ocean Panel and delivering its ambitious ocean agenda.
Amy has spent the last couple of years working in scientific publishing, gaining insight into the world of academia and its processes. Before this, Amy worked alongside the Sky Ocean Rescue Team, helping with their beach clean initiative, and interned as an Environmental Consultant with Aether Ltd. Her university research took her as far as Honduras, where she spent her second-year summer studying cleaner shrimp.
Amy holds an MSc in Oceanography from Southampton University and a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
In her free time, she enjoys playing netball, going hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
