Amos Mwangi
Senior Electric Mobility Associate, WRI Africa
Amos Mwangi is a Senior Electric Mobility Associate in the WRI Africa Cities team, based in Nairobi, Kenya. He is managing WRI Africa's growing electric mobility work in the region.
Prior to joining WRI, Amos worked for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) assisting in the management of projects on electric mobility, fuel efficiency and cleaner fuels and vehicles standards within Africa. Previously, he also worked as an individual consultant, carrying out environmental impact assessments and audits, and with World Vision Kenya focusing on project management of Water Sanitation and Hygiene projects,
Amos holds a Master’s degree in Carbon Management from the University of Edinburgh, a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Bio-systems Engineering from University of Nairobi and also holds a PRINCE II Practitioner certification.
