Amanda leads digital marketing, outreach, and strategy for WRI’s Land and Forests communications team, driving campaigns and systems that connect audiences to critical work on forests and land use. She manages cross-platform email, paid media, and analytics efforts for initiatives including Global Forest Watch and Land & Carbon Lab.

A systems thinker at heart, Amanda thrives on making the invisible work visible, streamlining internal processes, building collaborative infrastructure, and supporting smarter, more strategic storytelling. She designs and manages the systems that power audience engagement, performance tracking, and campaign coordination. She also oversees the team’s outreach calendar and ensures alignment of campaign timelines across programs.

Before joining WRI, Amanda served as the communications lead at The Phi Beta Kappa Society, where she managed all digital channels and produced national campaigns. She brings more than a decade of experience in digital strategy, social media, live events, and content production across nonprofit and arts sectors, with a strong focus on audience growth and data-informed communications.

Amanda holds a B.A. from Denison University with separate majors in Communication and Theatre, and a minor in Studio Art. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, attending local theatre, visiting museums and historical sites, nature walks, and photography.
