Alannah Nathan
Land Accelerator Intern

Alannah Nathan is an intern at WRI where she supports The Land Accelerator, a program which strengthens the capacity of entrepreneurs restoring land in Africa, South Asia, and Latin America. Additionally, Alannah works with the TerraMatch team, a platform designed to connect local restoration project developers with funding opportunities.
In addition to her work with WRI, Alannah has conducted research on the energy sector, including investigating greenwashing within oil and gas majors and supporting a professor build a graduate course on the clean energy transition. She also writes for Common Home, Georgetown's magazine for environmental news and analysis where she focuses on sustainable business and investment.
Alannah is a member of the Class of 2024 at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign service, pursuing a B.S. in Global Business and a minor in French.
Over the summer, Alannah lives in Brooklyn, NY, with her family.
