Aarushi Jain
Intern, Restoration Policy Accelerator
Aarushi Jain is a sponsored intern for the Restoration Policy Accelerator in the Forests department at WRI. Over the summer, she will work to identify policy problems and promote innovative programs and strategies for landscape restoration.
Aarushi Jain is a 2025 from Dartmouth College and hails from Long Island, New York. She graduated from The Wheatley School as the vice president of Student Government and National Honors Society, and served as founder/president of the Debate Team. Outside of school, Aarushi was the captain of the varsity Women’s Rowing team and classically danced for thirteen years.
At Dartmouth, Aarushi plans to pursue a modified Government degree and a Public Policy Minor. On campus, she is a coxswain for Dartmouth’s varsity Women’s Rowing team, dances with Raaz (Dartmouth’s South Asian Fusion group), a Student Assembly House Senator, and is a contributor in The World Outlook Journal of International Affairs. After graduation, Aarushi plans to attend law school and pursue a career in foreign affairs or public policy.
