WASHINGTON—For the 13th year, World Resources Institute will host Stories to Watch, an event looking at the big stories that will shape the world in the coming year. Dr. Andrew Steer, president & CEO, World Resources Institute, will offer his views on the major economic, social, environment and development issues for 2016.

WRI’s Stories to Watch 2016 will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

On the heels of the Paris Agreement, 2016 will be an important year for national leaders and other actors to follow through on their commitments. Will the signals coming out of Paris indicate progress on the environment and sustainability agenda? Who are the big leaders to watch? What are the key countries? Find out what events and policies will shape our world and our future.

WRI’s Stories to Watch has become a go-to event for Washington’s media, policymakers, business leaders and consultants. The event will include breakfast and networking opportunity.
