WASHINGTON (November 9, 2023) - On Thursday, November 16th at 8:30am EST / 2:30 pm CET, join a press call featuring perspectives from climate vulnerable countries to outline what COP28 must achieve to meet the needs of those hit hardest by climate change.

The call will feature the Allied for Climate Transformation by 2025 (ACT2025) partners who will discuss the topics that are set to dominate the COP28 agenda, including the equitable phase out of fossil fuels, the $100 billion finance commitment, the global goal on adaptation, loss and damage funding, and the new global goal on finance, while also exploring the challenging geopolitical backdrop and the major fault lines to watch out for.

The press call will be hosted by ACT2025 – a consortium formed to ensure that voices from climate-vulnerable countries are heard, amplified, mobilized and adequately supported in international climate negotiations.

Following brief presentations, we will provide ample time for questions from the media.
