ACT2025 Alliance Statement 2022: A Call for Enhanced Implementation at COP27 and Beyond

This paper explains why implementing the Paris Rulebook, the rules underpinning the Paris Agreement, is crucial to ensure transparency and accountability for action. It describes the three areas of action that governments can take to ensure its implementation and advance process such as the Global Stocktake, a formal process to drive ambition by assessing countries’ collective progress towards the Paris Agreement’s goals.
