Adaptation Action Coalition (Completed)
Country Members
The Adaptation Action Coalition (AAC) was developed by the UK in partnership with Egypt, Bangladesh, Malawi, the Netherlands, Saint Lucia and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The founding members, plus Colombia, Fiji, Ghana, Japan, Nepal and the USA, made up the Steering Committee.
The AAC Secretariat facilitated peer-to-peer knowledge exchange on sectoral and cross-sectoral topics of climate change adaptation between member countries. It engaged its wide network by sharing adaptation best practices, common challenges and solutions, as well as scaling up the use of technical tools and methodologies developed by its workstreams.
The Coalition brought together 42 countries across the globe
