As Africa's population is projected to reach 2.5 billion by 2050, building a circular economy for food is essential. Circular Food Systems focus on producing food in ways that regenerate nature, reduce food waste and loss, and repurpose commonly wasted resources.

Join us at the Africa Food Systems Forum 2024 in Kigali, Rwanda, where we will showcase the successful scaling of circular food systems through real-world case studies from Kenya, Ethiopia, and Rwanda.

This event brings together leaders, policymakers, SMEs, and other stakeholders to explore youth and women’s roles in transforming Africa’s food systems. It will highlight the transformative impact of circular agrifood practices in regenerative agriculture, food loss, waste, health diets, productive use of waste, and general resource use efficiency.

Participants will also engage in collaborative discussions to identify and address the persistent challenges faced in scaling circular practices across the continent.
