Discovering Data on Net-Zero Commitments
As global emissions continue to climb and the world faces increasingly dangerous climate impacts, the need for action to curb these emissions and work toward a net-zero world has never been more urgent. To contribute to reaching global net-zero emissions, many countries, companies and sub-national actors have set individual net-zero targets of their own, committing to balance any remaining emissions that they are generating by their target year with an equivalent amount of carbon removal.
Join Climate Watch, World Resources Institute and the Net Zero Tracker on August 7th to discover the latest data on the quantity and quality of net-zero targets, why they’re important and how best to track them. With insights from key experts and demonstrations from our data platforms, this webinar will provide attendees with an overview of what targets have been set, as well as the integrity of these targets.
