This event will spotlight Indonesia's progress on climate change commitments, providing a platform for knowledge exchange on good practices, lessons learned, and challenges for aligning climate and development objectives towards a low-carbon economy. It will highlight case studies where countries have made an effort to develop their long-term climate strategies–e.g., LTS-LCCR in Indonesia or LT-LEDS in some other nations–that are grounded in their improvement in Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and aligned with national development planning, emphasizing the mutual reinforcement of economic growth, social equity, and environmental sustainability.
