Climate Resilient Infrastructure Workshop
WRI’s experts are closely following the UN climate talks. Watch our Resource Hub for new articles, research, webinars and more.
This workshop will focus on advanced risk-analysis support tools and international technical assistance efforts to increase climate resilient infrastructure, covering topics such as data-driven planning and coordination among different government agencies. The workshop will also showcase the U.S. Department of Transportation’s new infrastructure resilience decision support tools used to assess location information and available climate data (historical and/or projected), specifically tailored for use with government facilities, as well as a technical guidance toolkit that will be made available through the MOMENTUM program. The workshop will also highlight related tools and resources developed by NOAA and FEMA and provide an opportunity for speakers to engage with workshop participants on the challenges and needs associated with increasing the resilience of transportation systems and communities worldwide.
