Unlocking Finance for a Locally-Led Pan-Amazon Bioeconomy
The panel, convened by NESsT, the Amazon Investors Coalition, CI, WRI and the Pan-Amazon Network for Bioeconomy seeks to discuss solutions to unlock financing for locally-led sociobioeconomy businesses in the Pan-Amazon region, addressing current challenges and opportunities. By bringing together local leaders and investors, the event aims at raising awareness, aligning and proposing paths to mobilize financial resources from the public and private sectors, in line with Target 19 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. The event will feature local producers, business accelerators, impact investors and multilateral development institutions.
