Science Based Targets Criteria for Financial Institutions - Summary of Stakeholder Feedback
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is developing a framework for financial institutions to set science-based climate targets in line with the ambition of the Paris Agreement. The project uses an asset class-based approach to link financial institutions’ investment and lending portfolios with climate stabilization pathways.
During this webinar, we will share a summary of feedback on the SBTi’s draft target validation criteria, a central component of the framework. The SBTi collected feedback through a multi-stakeholder process, including consultation with an Expert Advisory Group, a series of in-person workshops in Europe and Asia and a public consultation period.
If you are unable to join the webinar at this time, please register to receive a recording.
