Virginia Snyder
Research Intern, Invest Team, Global Restoration Initiative

Virginia Snyder is a Research Intern for the Invest team under the Global Restoration Initiative. She is assisting the TerraMatch/TerraFund and Land Accelerator programs within the Initiative from August to December 2023.
Virginia is a senior in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, pursuing a B.S. in Culture and Politics, with a focus on International Development, Natural Resource Management, and French. Virginia spent the second semester of her junior year conducting market research in coastal Madagascar, working with smallholders and subsistence farmers. Her senior thesis examines the intersection of gender and non-traditional market mechanisms in sustainable food systems.
She is originally from Weathersfield, Vermont, and currently lives in Washington, D.C.
