Vaisakh Suresh is a Project Associate with the Energy Team at WRI India. His primary area of work involves tracking emerging technologies and policies in the field of renewables. He also assists the team with research and analysis on the clean energy transition in Tamil Nadu.

During his post graduate program at IIT Madras (M.S by Research), he worked extensively on the ground-up design and development of wind turbines suitable for deployment at regions with lower winds.

Prior to joining WRI India, Vaisakh worked as an Engineer at Defiance Technologies, Bengaluru, on projects involving the analysis of primary aircraft structures. He also holds a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore.

Hailing from Kerala, he enjoys swimming, boating, long drives and good food.
