Tim Constien is the Senior Global Program Manager for WRI’s Food, Land & Water Program, where he works closely with the Global Program Director to support the effective leadership, coordination, and governance of the program. His role operates across program strategy, planning, monitoring and evaluation, communications, development, and people-related processes to ensure alignment between leadership priorities, institutional requirements, and team execution.

In previous roles at WRI, Tim served as Global Coordination Manager for the Managing Director for Global Delivery, where he acted as a special assistant and advisor while overseeing high-priority initiatives. He also worked in WRI’s Executive Office as Institutional Governance Coordinator, supporting executive governance structures, and began his tenure at WRI as a Project Specialist with the International Climate Action initiative.

Tim holds a B.S. in Business Administration and International Business from Oregon State University and an M.Sc. in International Management from Trinity College Dublin.

Originally from Oregon, Tim enjoys snowboarding, camping, and running. In Washington, DC, he can often be found at local farmers markets, running through Rock Creek Park, attending concerts, or reading on his front porch.
