Teresa Schofield is a Product Specialist for the Global Forest Watch platform. She strives to improve the platform by evaluating user needs, developing plans for new features, and implementing needed changes alongside the GFW team.

Prior to joining WRI, Teresa provided technical support, training, online instructions and product documentation to faculty at the University of North Texas. While a student there, she also assisted in the creation of several university websites.

Teresa holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Texas, along with minors in Spanish and Human Services. Alongside spending several months on a team that researched post-traumatic growth and stress, she worked as a crisis intervention specialist for the Denton County Friends of the Family women's shelter; however, she is now excited to pursue her passion for conservation.

In her own time, Teresa loves to travel, study languages, cycle, and practice guitar.
