Taryn Staples
Manager of Global Operations, FFWO
Taryn is the Global Operations Manager for the Food, Forests, Water, and Ocean Program, providing operational & financial management support for the program, supporting work in WRI’s global and international offices, totaling a +50 million USD annual budget. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting and training the operational staff within each project under FFWO to ensure their capabilities for management of funder financial regulations & reporting, annual budget planning & monitoring, and management of sub-recipient contracts.
Prior to joining WRI, Taryn worked in theatre management as Production Manager for Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. Taryn holds a BFA in Stage Management from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and MBA from the London School of Business and Finance.
As an avid endurance cyclist, Taryn uses biking adventures to see the US and raise money & awareness for charities & causes that are important to her.
