Sophie Brady is a Media Relations Specialist at the World Resources Institute, where she manages strategic media engagement to amplify WRI’s climate, sustainability, and environmental research. She connects journalists with experts and develops media strategies that enhance WRI’s global profile and influence.

Before joining WRI, Sophie managed media and communications strategies focused on climate and international development campaigns at UNICEF UK. She led high-profile initiatives including COP conferences, major report launches, emergency response communications, and press trips with leading broadcasters covering humanitarian crises. Sophie began her career in agency, crafting media and digital strategies for leading international organizations focused on advancing progress in global health and international development, securing broad global media coverage -with a particular focus on African media.

Sophie holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and an MA from the University of Aberdeen. After five years in London, Sophie has traded the Tube for two wheels and now calls Amsterdam home - where she is embracing living in the world’s most cyclable city. When she’s not cycling around, she’s probably at a spinning class, doing Pilates, or cooking with friends.
