Sophie Brady is a Media Relations Specialist at the World Resources Institute, where she manages strategic media engagement to amplify WRI’s climate, sustainability, and environmental research. She connects journalists with experts and develops strategies that strengthen WRI’s global profile and influence.

Before joining WRI, Sophie managed media and communications at UNICEF UK, with a thematic focus on climate change and humanitarian emergencies affecting children worldwide. She led high-profile media moments including COP conferences, report launches, emergency responses, and press trips with leading broadcasters. She began her career in agency, developing media and digital strategies for philanthropic and international organizations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Sophie holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and an MA from the University of Aberdeen. After five years in London, she traded the tube for two wheels and now calls Amsterdam home, embracing life in the world’s most cyclable city.
