Sofia Tenorio Fenton is an Engagement Specialist within the Forest Program's cross-cutting work on responsible supply chains. She contributes to the execution of multi-stakeholder processes and projects aimed at realizing sustainable agriculture.

Prior to joining WRI, Sofia worked at Forest Trends where she led strategic research aiming to improve stakeholder knowledge on agricultural commodities and their capacity for the identification of global patterns of deforestation. Sofia has extensive experience on multi-stakeholder processes, including her previous support for the Cocoa & Forests Initiative while working at the World Cocoa Foundation.

Sofia holds a Master of Environmental Management and a Certificate on Community-Based Environmental Management from Duke University. She also has a degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidad la Salle A.C in Mexico City, Mexico. Sofia is a native Spanish speaker fluent in English and French.
