Sod-Erdene (Sodoo) Davaadorj is a Grants and Finance Specialist with the Natural Infrastructure Initiative. He is responsible for the management of budgets, contracts and subgrants for Cities4Forests and other projects housed in the NII.

Prior to joining WRI, Sodoo worked in Basic Education and Child-Friendly Community programmes of United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Mongolia country office where he managed and monitored programme funds and procurements, and also carried out financial management training to implementing partners. He provided support to the management team in country office budget execution and donor reporting. In addition, Sodoo successfully coordinated “End Violence against Children” UNICEF global campaign in Mongolia. He also has experience in auditing and banking sectors.

Sodoo holds a B.S. in Finance from State University of New York and a M.P.S. in International Development – Food Security from Cornell University. Sodoo lives in DC with his wife, Haliuna, and daughter, Marlaa.

He enjoys spending time and traveling with his family.
