Skylar Bee is a Climate Finance Specialist, Knowledge and Learning at the NDC Partnership. She works to to help shape the Partnership’s finance strategy, curate opportunities for peer exchanges on climate finance, and identify country case studies and best practices.

Prior to joining WRI, Skylar worked on capacity building for climate finance at the sub-national level with a focus on sustainable urban infrastructure at EIT Climate-KIC, where she also gained experience in building project portfolios focused on innovative municipal finance. She has a research background in private sector engagement and investment in climate change adaptation, and was an editor and contributor to the flagship 2016 UNEP Adaptation Finance Gap Report.

Skylar holds an MSc in Agricultural Development from Copenhagen University and a BSc from Victoria University of Wellington in Ecology and Biodiversity.

Outside of the office, you'll find Skylar enjoying time outside on her bike, in the woods or attempting to surf.
