Sheila Okoth
Data Analyst, Terrafund
Sheila is a Data Analyst working with the Restoration team. She works to support management, analysis and reporting of data submitted by TerraFund for AFR100 restoration champions in Africa to provide insights and support the programs monitoring framework.
Before joining WRI, Sheila worked with the Kenyan arm of the Global Programs for Research and Training (GPRT), an affiliate of the University of California, San Fransisco as a data analyst supporting the implementation of various projects across Kenya as funded by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Prior to that she supported project implementation at World Agroforestry (CIFOR – ICRAF) under the Monitoring, Evaluation and Impact Assessment Unit.
Sheila holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
In her spare time, Sheila enjoys reading novels and is an avid music enthusiast, playing for the African Women’s Orchestra and the orchestras of the Kenya Conservatoire of Music, and singing for the Nairobi Music Society.
