Shannon Williams
Grants and Finance Associate, Global Restoration Initiative
Shannon is a Grants and Finance Associate for the Global Restoration Initiative in the Forests program. She provides financial, administrative, and program operations support to the team. She manages a portfolio of grants and contracts aiming to revitalize degraded lands across the globe.
Prior to joining WRI, Shannon worked on the operations team at Flamboyan Foundation, a community-based and education-focused nonprofit in Washington, D.C. There she managed the program operations and grants for their school-based partnerships and provided support to organization-wide finance and operations.
Shannon holds a B.A. in International Security and Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University.
Shannon lives in Washington, D.C., and she enjoys reading, cooking, and her weekly soccer games.
