Ryan O’Connor is the Knowledge Tools Analyst for the NDC Partnership. In this role, he manages the Knowledge Portal, tracks new resources, and coordinates web development and enhancement. He also supports the operation of the NDC Partnership’s internal knowledge management system, the kNook, and contributes to other Knowledge and Learning activities including resource briefs and gap analyses.

Previously, Ryan was a Research Analyst for the Climate Resilience Practice in the Center for Equitable Development. There he conducted research and data analysis on adaptation in NDCs, implementation, and tracking of adaptation commitments, and locally led adaptation. He also worked with the Adaptation Action Coalition and supported its activities. Before joining WRI, Ryan worked with the German-American Heritage Museum in Washington DC, where he performed digital mapping research.

Ryan holds a BA in International Relations and a BA in Germanic Studies, both from the University of Maryland, College Park.
