Ryan O’Connor
Climate Resilience Fellow

Ryan O’Connor is a Research Assistant for the Climate Resilience Practice in the Center for Equitable Development. There he provides research support for projects such long-term adaptation planning in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as an analysis of the adaptation components of enhanced NDCs.
Previously, Ryan was a Climate Resilience Fellow with the Climate Resilience Practice, where he worked to fulfill the practice’s research and operations needs. Before joining WRI, he worked with the German-American Heritage Museum in Washington DC, where he performed research for a virtual mapping project.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Germanic Studies, both from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Ryan lives in Silver Spring, MD, and enjoys travel, nature, and playing the trombone.
