Rachel Evans is the Development Associate for the Climate and Economics programs. She supports resource mobilization efforts across portfolios through strategic donor stewardship and effective donor communications.

Prior to joining WRI, Rachel worked in fundraising and program management at Jewish Women International (JWI), contributing to the organization's mission to end violence against women and girls around the world. She has prior internship experience with the Partnership for Public Service on their government affairs team, as well as with ECI Communications as an account associate.

Rachel has a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from the Pennsylvania State University, and is currently pursuing a Master's of Public Administration and Policy from American University.

Rachel lives in Washington, D.C. with her kitten Callie, and enjoys baking and reading in her time outside of work.
