Paloma Martins is a Transport Decarbonization Analyst II at WRI Brasil and is part of the Cities Program. In her role, she contributes to initiatives aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in freight transport, including data analysis, mapping low- and zero-emission vehicle technologies, and developing studies and projects related to the transition to more sustainable logistics systems in Brazil.

Before joining WRI Brasil, Paloma worked in the private sector on corporate sustainability and decarbonization projects, contributing to data analysis, preparation of technical reports, and support in the development and analysis of greenhouse gas emissions inventories, as well as initiatives focused on emissions reduction. Previously, she worked in the nonprofit sector managing projects related to sustainable urban mobility, including the production of technical content and monitoring project performance indicators.

Paloma Martins holds a degree in Environmental Management from the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH) at the University of São Paulo (USP) and an MBA in Project Management from USP/Esalq.
