Natasha Collins leads project development and research for the Cities4Forests and Natural Infrastructure Initiative at WRI. Her work advances the design and scaling of nature-based solutions across the U.S. and globally. Natasha specializes in innovative finance strategies and cross-sector partnerships to support forest and watershed restoration in the western United States, particularly on and around National Forest lands. She also guides efforts to apply nature-based solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa, and oversees research and communications within her team.

She holds a master’s degree in Forest Sciences from Colorado State University and dual bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Studies and International Spanish for the Professions from the University of Colorado Boulder.
