Natalia Ruiz-Guevara is Research Analyst, in the Initiative 20x20 / Assisted Natural Regeneration Alliance. She works directly with Initiative 20x20 under UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and the Global Assisted Natural Regeneration Network to accelerate Knowledge transfer, policy and finance.

Prior to joining WRI, Natalia worked with organizations at CATIE, Helvetas, ONU and government entities where she has facilitated participative processes, implemented monitoring and evaluation systems and networking. She has experience and research on gender, youth, forestry, governance, landscape management, and knowledge management in PerĂº, and Latin America (Central and South America).

Natalia holds a Master in Development Practice from the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center, Costa Rica. She is Forest Engineer, graduated on UNALM, Peru. In 2019, she joined to the Latin American Model Forest Network, a voluntary alliance, where she is currently Co-chair and lead of knowledge management.

Natalia lives in Lima, PerĂº, with her husband, Jesua, and cat, Flora. She enjoys going hiking in natural areas.
