Morgan Smith is a Marketing/Communications Specialist in the Food, Land, and Water department. She works to expand the digital presence of WRI's food work by creating content for social media, email newsletters, and the food program websites. She also advises members of WRI's Coolfood initiative on marketing and branding projects.

Prior to joining WRI, Morgan ran her own private chef business, Meals with Morgan. She also held multiple communications and editorial roles at American Farmland Trust, where she wrote about the challenges (and solutions) to accessing land and implementing proven sustainability practices on American farmland.

Morgan holds a B.A. in Integrated Strategic Communication and Graphic Design from the University of Kentucky. She also attended the Health Supportive Culinary Arts Program at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.
