Mila Khaerunnisa Rizqiani
GIS Analyst for Social Forestry and Agrarian Reform Improvement, WRI Indonesia

Mila is a GIS Analyst for Social Forestry and Agrarian Reform Improvement at WRI Indonesia. She works to provide support in GIS technical works, research, spatial and non-spatial analysis, project coordination with other specialists, and stakeholder engagement related to various initiatives.
Prior to joining WRI, Mila worked at a private consulting company, which does geoscience projects pertaining to Climate Change Adaptation for Stakeholders and Communities. Her focus was on Climate and Weather Information, Multi-Hazard Early Warning System, Research Model of Flood Risk Mapping Zone in Jakarta for Re-Insurance Company, Integrated Spatial Database Management System in District Level, and Masterplan for Borderland Management. During this tenure, She had worked for USAID APIK (Adaptasi Perubahan Iklim dan Ketangguhan) and collaboration with BMKG (Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency), BNPB (National Disaster Management Agency), BPPT (Agency for The Assessment and Application of Technology), GIZ and ICRAF, as well as BNPP (National Borderland Management Agency).
Mila holds a B.Sc. in Geography from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science at the University of Indonesia. In her spare time, she enjoys doing outdoor activities, especially hiking, as well as traveling, playing with her cat and watching movies.
