Meredith Wagner
Global Energy Development Lead

Meredith is the Global Energy Development Lead for the WRI Polsky Center for the Global Energy Transition. She works with energy sector leaders across the globe to support the deployment of energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy minerals circularity and energy access solutions. In close collaboration with WRI energy experts, she designs development strategies, cultivates external relationships, identifies new funding opportunities, and facilitates internal development data analysis and operations processes.
Prior to joining WRI, Meredith supported the development, operations and fundraising initiatives of multiple NGO sectors, most recently at Collective Impact, a progressive start up that helps high profile individuals use their social followings for good. Before moving fully into development and partnerships, Meredith worked as a freelance theatrical designer, fundraiser and educator at arts and culture institutions such as Princeton University, MacArthur Theatre, and Stages Repertory Theatre.
Meredith has a BA in Arts Administration and Design from Concordia University, and an MFA in Design from Michigan State University.
Meredith is a passionate rock climber, 3D artist and international traveler, and likes to bake, garden and improve her French language skills when she isn't at work. She currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
