As the Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (PMEL) Associate, Matt works to ensure that WRI Ross Center’s long-terms results and impact are captured, catalogued, assessed, and communicated within and outside of WRI. He also manages WRI Ross Center’s work planning process; collaboratively develops and maintains knowledge capture and evaluation processes for the program; and leverages programmatic knowledge to support content development for major donor and annual reports.

Prior to joining WRI Ross Center, Matt spent 5 years working for Washington, DC-based non-profits focused on alleviating economic inequality, protecting the expansion of access to healthcare within the U.S., and providing access to higher education for low-income students.

Matt received an M.A. in Ethics, Peace, & Human Rights from American University (DC), and was a Sondheim Public Affairs Scholar at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where he earned a B.A. in History.
