Mary Levine is the Operations Specialist for the Climate Department. She assists with development of improved program processes and systems, produces regular analytic reports on program finances and staffing, takes on special and irregular assignments, and stands in to backstop project support needs across a wide range of grants, finance, contracts, and personnel areas. She is a public policy professional with extensive event and logistical coordination experience in both the private and public sectors, focusing on helping organizations implement programs effectively.

Prior to this position, she was a Project Specialist within the Climate Department at WRI. Other past positions include program support coordinator at the Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC) at Georgia Tech, a training assistant for the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), an event coordinator for CEB, now Gartner, and a seasonal park ranger for the U.S. National Park Service at Manassas National Battlefield Park. She has also interned for a member of the House of Representatives and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Mary received her B.A. in History and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and her M.A. in Public Policy from George Mason University.

Mary currently lives Falls Church, Virginia with her family. In her off time, she enjoys climbing, exploring new areas, and playing tour guide to the DC area.
