Makeda Fekede is an HR Coordinator for WRI's Global HR team. She provides administrative and project coordination support to the Employee Relations team.

Prior to joining WRI, Makeda held a variety of roles across nonprofit, consulting and advocacy sectors, with a focus on project coordination, research and operations.

Makeda holds a bachelor's degree in environmental and Sustainability Studies from George Mason University, and a master's degree in international development from American University. She is based in the Washington D.C area and enjoys going to concerts and traveling.
