Maggie Hirt
Project Coordinator, National Climate Action

Maggie is a Project Coordinator with the National Climate Action Initiative, providing financial and grant management support.
Prior to joining WRI, Maggie worked as a program manager at Clean Fuels Ohio where she led projects and program initiatives, supported grassroots chapters, organized community education events, and advocated for electric vehicle adoption.
Maggie earned a Bachelor of Science in Environment and Natural Resources from The Ohio State University, where she focused on environmental policy, protection, and education, and the economic and social forces that impact decision making.
Maggie lives in Columbus, Ohio with her boyfriend, Cam, and their rescue Mastiff-mix, Tiny.
