Liz Kirk
Director, Knowledge Generation and Engagement (FOLU)
Liz Kirk is the Director, Knowledge Generation and Engagement (FOLU). In this role, Liz will lead FOLU’s global thought leadership and influencing strategy to accelerate ambitious global action.
Liz brings nearly two decades’ experience in agriculture and food systems. Her first ten years were spent in the international non-profit sector (Ethical Trading Initiative, Care International and Oxfam GB) where she set up and led Oxfam GB’s Agriculture and Natural Resource Team.
Liz moved to the UK’s Department for International Development in 2013, working latterly as Senior Advisor, Agriculture leading the UK G7 Presidency’s Food Security Working Group and UK input to the UN Food Systems Summit.
Most recently, Liz has worked as a Senior Advisor: Agriculture at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, providing consultancy on sustainable agriculture and resilience to twenty-one governments in Africa.
