Lindy Schofield
Project Management and Finance Specialist, WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities
Lindy Schofield is a Project Management and Finance Specialist at the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities, where she supports the management and financial coordination of projects that advance sustainable, inclusive, and resilient cities.
Before joining WRI, Lindy built experience across finance, grants and contracts, and project management through roles in nonprofit research and software development. These experiences shaped her interest in bringing together people, processes, and technology to make complex work more organized and effective.
Lindy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Management with a specialization in Project Management. She is particularly interested in how technology can simplify processes, strengthen collaboration, and help teams focus more of their time on meaningful work. As a lifelong learner, she enjoys finding creative solutions, improving systems, and taking on new challenges.
Outside of work, Lindy enjoys exploring new places, trying new foods and coffee, and spending time outdoors. She is an avid gardener who grows her own vegetables and herbs and is slowly building her homesteading skills, one vegetable, herb, and DIY project at a time. She also loves hiking with her two dogs and supporting her spouse and children in their many activities.
