Kibrom Tadesse
P4G National Platform Liaison, Ethiopia
Kibrom Tadesse is the National Platform Liaison for the P4G initiative at WRI Africa, where he coordinates Ethiopia’s National Platform and supports climate partnerships, startup acceleration, and enabling environment reforms. He serves as the primary bridge between national stakeholders and the P4G Global Hub, aligning investment-ready solutions with Ethiopia’s climate and development priorities.
Prior to joining WRI, Kibrom served as Chief Operating Officer at the Center for African Leadership Studies (CALS), where he led entrepreneurship and leadership programs, incubated over 100 startups, and built strategic partnerships with organizations including Mastercard Foundation, USAID, UNDP, and GIZ. He has also represented Ethiopia at UN climate negotiations and led national-scale nonprofit programs focused on rehabilitation and empowerment.
Kibrom holds an MA in Climate & Society from Columbia University in the City of New York. He is a Certified Management Consultant and has completed specialized training in project management, environmental assessment, and digital strategy.
In his spare time, Kibrom enjoys testing out productivity hacks, building treehouses & DIY projects with his 3 boys—always finding joy in turning ideas into action.
