Katie Cheney is the Annual Workplan and Results Reporting Manager on the Managing for Results Team. She works to shape WRI’s impact by facilitating the development of a comprehensive workplan aligned with WRI’s institutional Results Framework and Theories of Change, as well as reporting results to core donors annually based on this workplan. The results reporting process also includes the determination of “Top Outcomes” submitted by program and operations teams.

Prior to joining WRI, Katie managed research, MEL, and gender equity projects for the past ten years at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), both for implementing partners and most recently at the Agency’s headquarters.

Katie holds an M.S. in International Development from Tulane University and a B.A. in Anthropology, with a minor in Women’s Studies, from Penn State University.

She lives in Silver Spring, MD with her partner, Colin, and their two sons and dog, Stretch.
