Kati Oudendijk is a Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (PMEL) Manager for the Managing for Results team. In her role, she guides teams in developing evidence-based Theories of Change and embedding Pause and Reflect sessions into the World Resources Institute's (WRI) work.

Before joining WRI, Kati gained over ten years of experience as a PMEL Advisor and consultant working with NGOs, government agencies, and the private sector. She worked as a Senior MEL Advisor for IDH and evaluated programs for organizations like Rainforest Alliance, Solidaridad, and the Dutch Socioeconomic Council as an external consultant. Her expertise lies in mixed-methods approaches using Theory of Change, with an emphasis on adaptive management and learning. Kati has extensive experience setting up PMEL frameworks for complex multistakeholder programs striving for systems change, combining environmental and social impact in sustainable value chains such as cocoa, coffee, tea, gold, and garments.

Kati holds a Research Master's degree in International Development Studies from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science from Wageningen University, specializing in development economics. During her studies, she conducted field research on smallholder inclusion in Ghana, Burkina Faso, and Uganda.

Outside of work, Kati enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring nature. She lives in Amsterdam with her partner and is regularly found challenging herself at the local climbing gym.
