Kathy Cefus is the Senior Operations Manager for WRI U.S.

Her responsibilities include program and grant financial management, as well as operations. Kathy is a key resource for directors and project managers across the U.S. program and works to expand visibility and impact.

Prior to joining WRI, Kathy was the VP of Operations for a nonprofit that supported children and adults through family strengthening programs and services. There she coordinated and directed the activities of the grants, contracts, data, and operation/finance teams in order to meet program deliverables and goals. Kathy is experienced in grant and contract management, as well as budget development and tracking.

Kathy holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois, and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Colorado. She enjoys cycling, hiking, skiing and traveling. Kathy resides in Colorado.
