Kathleen McLaughlin, EVP and Chief Sustainability Officer, Walmart Inc., and President of the Walmart Foundation, leads business and philanthropic initiatives to help address societal challenges including upward mobility of frontline workers, overcoming barriers to racial and gender equity, reducing emissions and waste in retail operations and value chains, developing regenerative product value chains, and building community resilience.

Kathleen serves on the boards of the World Wildlife Fund and World Resources Institute and is an advisor to The Nature Conservancy’s Impact and Financial Markets team.

Prior to Walmart, Kathleen spent 20+ years at McKinsey & Company and was recognized in Time’s 2024 Climate100 list and in Fortune’s 2018 “World's 50 Greatest Leaders" list.

She holds degrees from Boston University and Oxford University, where she was a Rhodes Scholar.

She is married with three children and divides her time between Bentonville, Arkansas, and Toronto, Ontario.
