Josie Suddeth is a Graduate Intern for WRI’s Electric School Bus Initiative. Her work is focused on building an aggregated procurement model for electric school buses and driving down prices in the electric school bus market.

Before joining WRI, Josie worked at the George Washington Institute of Public Policy, where she updated the Significant Features of the Property Tax database and supported research on how wildfires affect various aspects of property taxes. She also worked as a Senior Analyst at Kaufman Hall. In this role, she authored a weekly newsletter on healthcare industry news and trends and collaborated with senior leaders to develop insights for client work and industry-wide presentations. Earlier career highlights feature meaningful work with Warnock for Georgia, the International Conservation Caucus Foundation, and the Peace Corps.

Josie is pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Economics and a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Resource Policy at the George Washington University. She graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy, Leadership, and Foreign Affairs and a minor in Global Sustainability.
