John is a Manager with the Global Grants and Contracts team. Based in WRI India’s Bangalore office, he assists the Global Grants and Contracts Director with overseeing the financial and compliance management of sub-grantees and administering a portfolio of grants and contracts.

Prior to joining WRI, John was a Finance and Grants Manager at J-PAL, a research center at MIT. Earlier in his career, he had worked with print media companies that include The Times of India, Deccan Chronicle and The New Indian Express.

John holds an MBA from Anna University and a Bachelors in English Literature from Loyola College, Chennai.
