Jinghan Xu is the communications lead of WRI China. She works to formulate the overall comms strategy, lead comms outputs, expand & strengthen the media network and cooperate with other IOs to raise WRI’s visibility in China.
Prior to joining WRI, Jinghan worked as a communications officer in Greenpeace East Asia. She acted as the comms lead for various projects focusing on green & just recovery, overseas energy investment, BRI, climate change, soil & water pollution, green finance, RE development, ocean & biodiversity, E-waste, and hazardous chemical management. Before that, she worked for Cities Alliance, which is hosted by UNOPS in Brussels, Belgium.
Jinghan holds a B.A. in Media Science from Nanjing University of Science & Technology, and an MSc in Development Administration & Planning from the Bartlett Development Planning Unit, University College London (UCL), with a focus on the development mode of refugee recipient countries in Africa.
Jinghan lives in Beijing.
