Jessica Routzahn
Grants and Finance Specialist II
Jessica Routzahn is a Grants and Finance Specialist II for the Cities4Forests initiative and Urban Development Program at WRI's Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. She is responsible for the financial and operational management of the team’s growing portfolio of grants, contracts, and subawards—overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and compliance. Collaborating with project leads across WRI’s global offices and with external partners, she helps advance innovative nature-based solutions around the world.
Prior to joining WRI, Jessica worked with regional government organizations across the United States as a Program Manager at the National Association of Regional Councils. In her role, she managed program activities and budget management across the organization’s energy and economic development policy portfolios for funded grant projects from the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Jessica holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics and an M.P.A. in Policy Research and Analysis from the University of Pittsburgh.
